Third four-timer for the team!

It’s been a remarkable record-breaking month for the Kingsley Park team who have scored 34 times so far in May, including 15 times from Saturday 19 to Saturday 26. Up to then, the most winners in May were recorded in 2015 when the tally reached 30.
May 26th saw a four-timer come in across-the-card. At Goodwood, debutante Natalie’s Joy, the Lope de Vega filly owned by Simon Chappell, won the six-furlong fillies’ maiden by an impressive six length under Joe Fanning. At Chester, Franny Norton partnered Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed’s Cape Cross gelding, Star Of The East, to win the 13.5-furlong handicap by just a short head in a thrilling finish to the line. Next, Mick Doyle’s juvenile colt, I Am A Dreamer, proved that he is at ease at York as he took the six-furlong novice under Harry Bentley. I Am A dreamer, by Dream Ahead, had won on the Knavesmire just nine days earlier. The fourth winner of the afternoon was G R Bailey’s Ltd’s Baileys Excelerate. Ridden by champion jockey Silvestre de Sousa, the Excelebration colt made all to win the 12-furlong handicap by two and a half lengths. Congratulations to all involved!
