A double on paper but a treble on the day!

Marie’s Diamond, owned by Middleham Park Racing LXXXVI, won at Chester under Franny Norton to win the six-furlong novice. Drawn eight of 11, Marie’s Diamond made all to win by one and a quarter length. This was the Footstepsinthesand colt’s second win in four starts.
Two wins, two days, two tracks, two jockeys… one horse! Poet’s Society went from Goodwood, where he won under Oli Stammers the previous day, to Bath to dispute the mile handicap under Silvestre de Sousa. The Kingsley Park 9′ s Poet’s Voice four-year-old gelding made all to win by three quarters of a length.
At York, Sarah Fanning, Joe’s wife, lined up in the MacMillan Cancer Charity race, riding the Kingsley Park Owners Club’s X Rated. Sarah, who used to be a Yard Manager with our team, had been back riding out at Kingsley Park over the last few months. The grey X Rated dead-heated to give Sarah a day to remember!

Congratulations to all involved!
